LORE

  • In the heart of the rowdiest city district stands a battered old tavern with one rule: “No cheap shots, unless they’re in a glass.” The Chug and Slug is a legendary dive where fists fly as freely as the ale. Every night, tables are overturned, mugs are shattered, and bets are placed on who’ll stay standing. The regulars believe the more you drink, the harder you hit, and the tavern itself seems to agree, rewarding those bold enough to live by the mug and die by the slug.

  • Nestled beside a bubbling creek and surrounded by golden hops fields, The Good Barrel Inn is famous for one thing: never letting a cup run dry. The ale flows from enchanted kegs said to refill themselves at dawn, and the laughter from within is just as bottomless. Travelers who enter find themselves swept up in the spirit of revelry, and often, into the occasional friendly brawl. With energy renewed every round, only those with stout hearts and steel stomachs can keep up.

  • Where nobles go to “slum it,” the Gilded Goblet is a glittering, velvet-draped den of wealth and etiquette… Until the gloves come off. Brawls break out here too, but with style. Monogrammed napkins, jeweled goblets, and polished brass chandeliers often end up in the crossfire. Of course, breaking anything means footing the bill, and patrons are encouraged to keep things brief and beautiful. Only the well-heeled, or well-connected, last long under such costly constraints.

  • Barely standing between two collapsing alleyways, this literal hole in the wall is more of a suggestion than a structure. There’s one cracked stool, two broken boards pretending to be a bar, and no doors at all. But the drinks are strong, and the danger is real. Those who fight here quickly learn that defenses won’t last, so they better make every move count. It’s not about if you’ll get hit here, just how hard.

  • Hidden deep in the cursed wetlands, this tavern brews more than just drinks, it stirs ancient hexes and whispers dark incantations. The air reeks of damp rot and old spells. Shadows twist unnaturally. Each sip is a gamble, and each breath feels like it drains your soul. But for those who can survive the curse, the rewards are otherworldly. Potions heal wounds with impossible speed, and the magic runs as deep as the despair. Stay long enough, and you may leave stronger… Or not at all.
